Benson Boone was forced to cancel a concert at the last minute because of a health issue.

Boone, 23, canceled his Nov. 1 show in Birmingham, England roughly an hour before it was supposed to start, the BBC reported .

The “Beautiful Things” singer said in his Instagram story that he had “tried everything” to revive his voice, but would be unable to perform due to the “condition of my throat.”

“I am so sorry but I will not be able to perform tonight,” he wrote, according to PEOPLE . “I have tried everything I can to revive my voice, but I cannot give you the show I’d like to be able to give you with the condition of my throat right now.”
