CINCINNATI —

A woman has died after being hit by a vehicle Sunday morning in West Price Hill.

Officials with the Cincinnati Fire Department told WLWT they received a call at 11:34 a.m. regarding a woman who had been hit by a vehicle.

Police say a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC, being driven by an 82-year-old woman, was turning onto West 8th St. from Trenton Ave. when she hit a woman who was walking in a marked crosswalk.

CPD says the woman was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Monday, the Hamilton County coroner identified the woman as Shirley Woods, 72, of Cincinnati.
