HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - State leaders planned to provide an update on the impacts of the government shutdown and the Trump administration’s decisions to stop funding certain programs.
Gov. Ned Lamont, Sen. Richard Blumenthal, and state Attorney General William Tong scheduled a news conference for 10 a.m.
They’ll gather at the Hands on Hartford Manna Food Pantry in Hartford.
In addition to an update on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, they’ll also talk about the impact on health care coverage through Access Health CT and the state’s Head Start program.
