HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - The Farmington Valley developer accused of taking hundreds of thousands of dollars in deposits and failing to build homes is going to trial.

William Ferrigno appeared in front of a Hartford judge on Monday morning to address his 11th criminal charge in two years.

Our I-Team has now learned that charge will be combined with the others and put on the court’s trial list.

The state said Ferrigno signed contracts with customers, took deposits, then failed to build homes while running sunlight construction in some of the cases, the state says he never even owned the land he sold.

Ferrigno previously turned down a plea and he has been on the trial list since January.

A judge did not set a trial date on Monday.

No further details were released.
