L ast school year was a standout for schools serving Queen Creek as nearly all achieved top scores in the Arizona Department of Education’s newly released 2024-25 A-F letter grades.
Queen Creek Unified School District and Higley Unified both received an overall “A” rating for the 2024-25 school year while Chandler Unified’s overall rating is officially “under review” because it is appealing a “B” grade for three schools. However, a CUSD official said the district is pleased overall, as 31 of its 44 schools got an “A.”
Queen Creek Unified saw 10 schools achieve A grades, four schools with B grades, and one with a C. The lowest grade went to Queen Creek Virtual Academy.
In Higley Unified, 13 out of 14 schools earned A grades, with Higley Virtual Academy being the only one to receive a B.
