WESTFIELD — With expenses that run well over a $300,000 annually, the Westfield Homeless Cat Project is putting together one of its main fundraisers for the year by holding its annual gift basket sale and it needs the help of cat lovers and pet lovers in general to make it a success.
“It cost a lot to feed and provide vet care for them,” said Denise Sinico, the president and founder of the nonprofit no-kill project that rescues and rehomes homeless, abandoned and surrendered cats and kittens.
