Liverpool boss Arne Slot has provided an update on the fitness of Alexander Isak, Alisson Becker and Jeremie Frimpong ahead of the clash with Real Madrid on Tuesday.

All three have been out of action due to injuries, with Alisson and Frimpong struggling with hamstring problems and Isak dealing with a groin issue.

It is bad news for the Reds ahead of the enormous Champions League tie as all three will be missing at Anfield.

There is another mammoth clash on Sunday as Slot takes his team to Manchester City and both Alisson and Frimpong will still be missing for that match.

However, Isak may still be involved and hopes to be back on the substitutes’ bench at the Etihad.
