A York man was arrested after he shot a woman in her hand on Halloween night after kicking open the door of a home hosting a small gathering, police wrote in an affidavit.
Edward Jardi Vasquez-Quezada, 54, of York, was charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and simple assault after a shooting that happened Halloween night in York City.
Police were dispatched around 11:21 p.m. on Oct. 31 to 700 block West Poplar Street for a reported shooting. Here’s what happened, according to an affidavit written by police:
