Law enforcement made more than 100 arrests and seized street narcotics worth more than $365,000 in a two-month operation disrupting the flow of illegal drugs coming from Philadelphia to its surrounding counties, the Pennsylvania attorney general and local district attorneys said Monday.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday was back in the Philly area Monday to detail what law enforcement called "Operation Clean Sweep," a two-month operation that took place in September and October in the city and its collar counties.

"If it's not in your town today, it could be tomorrow," Sunday said. "That's how quickly fentanyl and other deadly narcotics can move, and that's why they are such a threat to every single community throughout the commonwealth."
