LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The Lansing Fire Department, together with Mayor Andy Schor, will unveil a brand-new fire station on the city’s north side on Monday, November 3.
The new facility replaces an older, outdated station that once stood at the same location.
Construction of the new fire station was made possible by a public safety millage approved by Lansing voters, which funded two new fire stations, several remodeling projects, and a new fire training facility.
Lansing Fire Station 2 is located at 2114 N. Grand River Avenue.
