NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Voters at one polling precinct in Newport News will need to go to a new location on Election Day after the original polling place's building was condemned.
Voters in the South Morrison Precinct were originally supposed to go to the Ivy Farms Community of Faith Church to cast their ballot on Election Day. However, Newport News officials said the building has been condemned and will not be accessible on November 4.
The new polling location will be at the South Morrison Family Education Center (formerly South Morrison Elementary School), located at 746 Adams Drive.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 4, and polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Virginia. As long as you are in line by 7 p.m., you will be allowed to vote.
