CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Two teens are now charged in a shooting that injured one person near a Cedar Rapids school during trick-or-treating on Halloween night.
Cedar Rapids Police say 16-year-oold Gerald Vance of Cedar Rapids is charged with:
-Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon
-Willful Injury Resulting in Bodily Injury
-Going Armed with Intent
-Reckless Use of Firearm – Bodily Injury Resulting
-Minor Armed with Dangerous Weapon
-Person Ineligible to Carry Dangerous Weapon
Police have released Vance’s name because he is charged with a felony.
A 17-year-old is also charged in the case with minor armed with dangerous weapon, person ineligible to carry dangerous weapon, possession of controlled substance – marijuana.
Both teens are at the Linn County Detention Center.
