LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville Metro Police Department’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating a shooting that happened Sunday night in the city.

Around 10:32 a.m., LMPD’s Second Division was dispatched to a call for service on a report of a shooting in the 1500 block of Moore Court.

This is in the Algonquin neighborhood.

Officers found a man in his 60s. He had gunshot wounds to his legs.

The man was alert and conscious. EMS took him to University Hospital with injuries that are believed to be non-life threatening.

During the initial course of this investigation, it was learned that the shooting occurred Sunday night and happened at or near 26 th and Herman Streets.
