Bhubaneswar: Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Monday met devotees observing Habishyali in Puri and received their blessings on the second day of ‘Panchuka,’ the five-day ritual marking the culmination of the holy month of Kartika.
During the visit, the Deputy Chief Minister participated in the Vrindavati Puja (a ritual dedicated to Goddess Tulsi) and joined the devotees in lighting the lamp.
“All arrangements have been made by the government to ensure devotees can have darshan of Lord Jagannath, partake of ‘Mahaprasad,’ and observe the fast comfortably.
