Denise Richards is tipping her bunny ears to her Hollywood past.

The award-winning actress and model, who posed for Playboy magazine over 20 years ago, paid homage to her history with the iconic brand for her Halloween look, which she showed off in an Instagram post.

But unlike her scantily clad December 2004 photoshoot, during which Richards posed nude, the 54-year-old opted for a classic black leotard and matching bunny ears, which she paired with white cuffs and a black bowtie.

Richards, who was married to actor Charlie Sheen at the time of her Playboy cover, smoldered for the camera while standing on a black spiral staircase in her nostalgic Halloween look. "Hoppy Halloween," she captioned the post.

Richards opened up about her Playboy experience, which took place five months after the birth of her first child, during a 2004 interview on "The Tonight Show starring Jay Leno." The "Wild Things" actress got candid on a wardrobe dispute that took place when she learned that one of her looks didn't include a pair of bottoms.

"I started to panic," Richards recalled, later telling the photoshoot stylist, "'You better find me some frickin' bottoms.' So, she made these bottoms out of a shammy and used the leaves from the island."

Richards added that despite the fashion scramble, she "didn't have to show anything I didn't want to." As for her then-husband Sheen, Richards said the "Two and a Half Men" star was supportive of the sensual magazine shoot.

"Playboy approached me a couple other times and I didn't do it, and this time I figured I might as well do it before they never approach me again," Richards said. Sheen "was actually really cool about it" and "helped me pick out the pictures."
