SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Shreveport Police have arrested a man wanted in connection with a deadly hit-and-run.

Police arrested 33-year-old Demarcus L. Brown following an investigation into the death of Dwayne Kinchen. The victim was found unresponsive on October 20 in the 3300 block of Greenwood Road. A witness reported that Mr. Kinchen was seated in the middle of the eastbound travel lane when a white pickup truck, traveling eastbound, struck him and fled the scene.

Kinchen was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. According to Shreveport Police, Brown has been arrested for felony hit-and-run and obstruction of justice.
