CELINA, Texas — A Celina ISD coach and social studies teacher was placed on leave by the district after a social media post accused him of "inappropriate conduct" while he was working for another school district in North Texas.

On Oct. 31, the district learned of a social media post accusing a teacher of inappropriate conduct while he was employed by Melissa ISD, Celina High School principal John Burdette wrote in a letter sent to parents on Nov. 2.

After learning of the accusations, the district immediately began an investigation and put the teacher on administrative leave, the Celina principal's letter reads.
