An Owasso couple is home after riding out a Category Five hurricane in Jamaica.

Hurricane Melissa is the strongest hurricane on record to hit Jamaica, causing more than two dozen deaths on the island.

DREAM VACATION

Frank and Karen Cerrito had been planning a vacation to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, for years.

"When we went down there, it was a storm,” said Frank Cerrito. “It was nothing. We didn't know what it was going to turn into. As a small business owner, we can't just shut the doors whenever we want to go on vacation. So we went down there, and we made the decision to stay a little bit longer. It kind of bit us in the behind, but we came out of it okay."
