LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Convenience and access are driving Gateway Community Health Center’s latest effort to bring health care directly to the community through its new mobile clinic.

“This is an extension of our clinic. It’s our second mobile clinic that we’ve added to our fleet, and really, it’s a way to create access to healthcare — to primary healthcare,” said David Vasquez with Gateway Community Health Center.

The mobile clinic is stationed at Laredo College Ft. McIntosh Campus on Mondays and Wednesdays, offering services such as wellness visits, medical exams, family planning, STI testing, and chronic disease management. The clinic is open to the public as well as LC students and staff.
