ALLIANCE ‒ City police arrested a man accused of robbing Huntington Bank.

Police Capt. Donald Wensel said an alarm security system called from the bank at about 9:20 a.m. Nov. 3 advising of a robbery in progress.

Although the suspect was gone when police arrived, they had a good description and picture of his face from security video, Wensel said. The suspect is believed to have left the bank on foot.

"It was about an hour later, one of our patrol officers found our suspect still in the area, but he had changed clothes," he said. "He had some of the money still on him from the bank robbery."

The suspect, Jauan L. Mason, 42, of Alliance, was taken into custody and charged with aggravated robbery.
