The Philadelphia Eagles acquired edge rusher Jaelan Phillips from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2026 draft, according to multiple reports Monday.
A deal for Phillips would make three defensive players added by the Eagles in the past two weeks. The Eagles had multiple third-round picks in the 2026 draft and will need to make a roster move to complete the deal, which requires an all-important physical considering Phillips has had season-ending Achilles and ACL injuries.
Eagles vice president Howie Roseman previously added cornerbacks Michael Carter (New York Jets) and Jaire Alexander (Baltimore Ravens) in separate deals, making good on his vow not to be content with where the Eagles stand at 6-2 and in first place in the NFC East.
