STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Police are investigating several robberies and thefts that occurred across Staten Island over the course of a recent week, according to the NYPD .
Robberies across Staten Island are down 5% so far this year with 183 incidents compared to 192 during the same period in 2024, according to CompStat data.
Police report that the following robberies occurred in the borough from Oct. 20 to 26, according to CompStat, the NYPD’s data system:
On Oct. 20 at 1 a.m., a personal electronic device robbery was reported near Forest and Jewett avenues in Port Richmond. Later that same day at 3 a.m., a robbery that began as shoplifting occurred near Hylan Boulevard and Mallory Avenue in South Beach.
On Oct. 21 at 10 a.m., a dwelling robbery was reported near Benziger and Monroe Ave
