It feels that way in the NFL, at least. The Eagles made their third trade in less than a week Monday morning, which either points to how desperate they are to go back-to-back or how easy general manager Howie Roseman finds it to fleece a team that’s circling the drain.
So with that in mind, the question that’s on the minds of many Steelers fans is what will general manager Omar Khan do before Tuesday’s 4 p.m. trade deadline — if anything? While Mike Williams was a frequently discussed target last year, Preston Smith wasn’t on anyone’s radar as an extra edge rusher for the stretch run. Let’s look at a few routes the Steelers could go to bolster their roster at 5-3 and sitting comfortable with a full two-game lead atop the AFC North:
