NEW BEDFORD — A person was wounded in a shots-fired incident in the area of 20 Keene St. on Sunday night, according to a social media post by the New Bedford Police Union .

It states that a ShotSpotter activation indicated multiple shots were fired in the area.

Officers arrived on scene and found shell casings within the area, and were also made aware that one victim, who had suffered a gunshot wound, had arrived at St. Luke's Hospital, and that there was also damage to their motor vehicle, it states. There was no information on the extent of the injury.
