DULUTH, Minn. — The Labor Temple set up a Solidarity food table for those struggling with the SNAP cut off.
A table with food and toiletries has been set up on London Road outside the building.
People can grab what they need for free, no questions asked.
Anyone with things to spare can also drop stuff off.
“We have a committee called workers aid in our union that tries to help folks in the community, and we have a little food shelf over in Superior but we wanted something here in Duluth on this side of the bridge.” said Adam Ritscher, Volunteer with the United Steel Workers, “It’s been really encouraging to see all kinds of folks trying to find ways to help folks in their community to get through this crisis.
