STEPHENS CITY — Want some free Gore's sausage or hamburgers? No problem! All you have to do is give a little of your time and a bit of your blood.

Gore's Meats is partnering with the Greater Shenandoah Valley chapter of the American Red Cross to sponsor their ninth annual Veterans Day blood drive on Friday at West Oaks Farm Market .

"We are just continuing this tradition of holding a blood drive so our community can say thank you to our local military veterans by rolling up a sleeve and donating a pint of blood," said Keighley Gore, marketing manager and a fourth-generation member of the family-run Gore's Meats at 201 Centre Drive in Stephens City.
