A man was arrested last week in Uintah County after his actions constituted what is defined as road rage in Utah Code. According to the Probable Cause Statement, on October 30th, a person who was part of a funeral procession was using her vehicle to block traffic to allow the procession to enter the highway. A man whose vehicle was delayed by the procession became angry and made obscene hand gestures toward the individual. “When both vehicles later stopped at a red light at 5750 East, the individual attempted to speak civilly with the defendant, who rolled down his window, retrieved a pistol from the driver’s door, brought it across his body, pointed it toward the dashboard in a threatening manner, and said ‘F*** You’.” 50-year-old Daryl Kauffold was arrested and the charges were enhanced
