With the 2025 season slipping away, Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski has decided to make a significant change ahead of Sunday’s Week 10 game against the New York Jets.
Per Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot, Kevin Stefanski told reporters on Monday that he’s handing play-calling duties on offense over to offensive coordinator Tommy Rees. The former Notre Dame quarterback was promoted to OC in January after spending the 2024 season as Cleveland’s pass game specialist and tight ends coach.
Now, Rees will get full authority over the play calls on offense as the 2-6 Browns look to climb out of the AFC North basement.
Stefanski also gave up offensive play-calling duties midway through the 2024 campaign in favor of Ken Dorsey, who was let go after the season and replaced with Rees.
