After nine grinding weeks of regular-season play, the 2025 high school football season has reached the time when it matters the most — the playoffs.
Rivals Winnacunnet and Exeter will meet as three New Hampshire Seacoast teams, including Portsmouth/Oyster Rive r, will begin NHIAA postseason play Friday, Nov. 7.
Two additional teams from the Seacoast — St. Thomas Aquinas and Somersworth — will travel for road playoff games on Saturday, Nov. 8.
In Maine, Marshwood advanced with a win and will play in a Class B South semifinal.
Here are the matchups:
NHIAA DIVISION I
No. 9 Exeter (5-4) at No. 8 Winnacunnet (6-3)
When: Friday, Nov. 7 at 5 p.m.
Rivals collide for the second time this season, with the stakes doubled this time around — win or have the season ended by the archrival.
