LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Shipments of counterfeit watches shipped from Hong Kong have been seized by federal agents in Louisville.

The seizures were made on the night of Oct. 28 by officers with U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

According to CBP, the packages, which were addressed to residences in Union City, Georgia and Doral, Florida, contained 53 watches that were unauthorized versions of Richard Mille, Rolex, Hublot, Cartier, Swarovski, G-Shock, and Patek Philippe trademarks.

If the items had been real, they would have a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $6.6 million.

The confiscated items have been turned over to Homeland Security Investigations for further inspection.
