Two teens were injured, including one critically, in a shooting at a home off Old Bunce Road on Sunday, Nov. 2.
According to Fayetteville Police Sgt. Alpha Caldwell, officers were responded to the 600 block of Banner Elk Drive around 9:30 p.m. in reference to shots fired in the area.
Caldwell said officers found a 16-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest at the scene. A 17-year-old boy, who was suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wound, was found behind a Cook Out restaurant on Cliffdale Road, she said. The restaurant is about four blocks west through woods to the scene of the shooting. The victims' names were not released.
