After months of early mornings, late nights, and those hot July band camps where students marched all day in the summer heat, the Indiana high school marching band season is reaching its grand finale.

While some bands have already wrapped up their seasons, a few standout groups from right here in Southwestern Indiana have one performance left – and it’s the biggest show of the year!

Southwestern Indiana Marching Bands Taking the Field

Nine area marching bands have earned their spot in the Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA) State Finals. These students have poured countless hours into perfecting every step, every note, and every dramatic flag toss – and now it all comes down to one incredible performance inside the iconic Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
