A teen faces an impaired charge after a vehicle collided with a train in Chatham’s east end early Thursday, Chatham-Kent police say.
Officers called to the scene on Colborne Street about 12:19 a.m. found the vehicle just off the rails and evidence suggest it had struck the train, police said in a release later in the day.

The driver, who had exited the car before officers arrived, was unhurt, police said. Railway officials were contacted, and the train was halted.
Subsequent inspection confirmed the locomotive had been damaged, police added.
A woman, 19, is charged with driving with blood alcohol over the legal limit, police said. She
