BAY CITY, MI — A Georgia woman has received more time behind bars for smuggling a firearm into the Bay County Jail inside her bra.

Bay County Circuit Judge Jessie Scott Wood in early October sentenced Arquishia T. Brown, 32, to concurrent terms of 154 and 93 days in jail, with credit for four days already served. Wood further ordered Brown to pay $394 in fines and costs.

Brown, who hails from Newnan, Georgia, in August pleaded guilty to carrying a concealed weapon, felon in possession of a firearm, and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Prosecutors dismissed six additional charges.
