Sarnia-Lambton’s chamber of commerce boss is hoping a trip to Queen’s Park earlier this week will pay off with local investment.

About 38 chamber members spent two days meeting with provincial ministers and staff, talking about issues and challenges facing local businesses, and ways to help, said chamber CEO Carrie McEachran.

“We’re reminding people that we’re here, that we exist,” she said.

Meetings were with staff from the energy, health and accessibility ministries, with Small Business Associate Minister Nina Tangri, Agriculture Minister Trevor Jones, and a short meeting with Premier Doug Ford, she said.
