CAMPBELL, N.Y. (WETM) – Three Campbell residents have been arrested on various charges after officials say they made threats towards parole officers during a routine compliance check.
Officials say the arrests stem from an incident that occurred on Friday, Oct. 31, while New York State parole officers were conducting a routine compliance visit as part of New York State Parole's Operation Halloween compliance checks.
At this time, officials say they went to a home on County Route 4, where they were met with hostility that continued to escalate during the check. Due to safety concerns, officials say the officers left the situation and reported the incident.
