For the second time in as many weeks, congregants at a Minneapolis Catholic church were attacked by a group of would-be robbers.
The latest incident at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Community at 4537 3rd Ave. S. was reported during Saturday night Mass at around 6:20 p.m., when two people reported being accosted by three individuals.
Per Minneapolis PD, a female victim said three people "attempted to take her keys but were unsuccessful." A male victim also said three people tried to take his keys, and "kicked him during the attempt."
Neither of the victims suffered injuries, and the suspects fled the scene before police arrived. Officers did find one damaged vehicle in the area, though its owner was not on the scene.
No arrests have been made as of Monday afternoon.
