The Commanders sat in third place of the NFC East ahead of their Sunday Night Football game against the Seahawks, and not only will they stay there after their sixth loss of the season, but the outlook for that changing isn’t good. Not only did Washington fall to 3-6 with Sunday’s loss, they also lost key players in all three phases of the game.

Seeing Jayden Daniels dislocate his elbow (on his non-throwing arm) was extremely gruesome to watch. It was immediately clear that the QB was seriously hurt, and as his teammates took a knee, Zach Ertz and others were emotional for their quarterback — and possibly for the implications of losing him again. Without Daniels on the field, the Commanders will turn, yet again, to Marcus Mariota.
