WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) -- In Trumbull County, a jury was picked and opening statements were given in the case of a man charged with sexually assaulting a child.

Danny McFadden, 75, had been held in jail without bond. Prosecutors say he assaulted the victim for over a period of several years, starting when she was 5 years old.

McFadden is being held in Portage County jail because of a conflict with one of the jailers in Trumbull County.

Witness testimony begins Tuesday morning in Judge Cynthia Rice's court.
