KINGSTON — Tristan Goods, the father of the 11-year-old girl killed in a deadly car crash, testified at the murder trial of the accused former state trooper that he feared for his life the night his daughter was killed in the December 2020 crash.
Tristan Goods’ daughter, Monica, was sitting in the back seat of a Dodge Journey SUV driven by her father, when the vehicle was stopped by Baldner and subsequently involved in a chase that resulted in a fatal crash at about 11:40 p.m., Dec. 22, 2020. The family — Tristan, Monica, her sister, and stepmother — was traveling north on the New York State Thruway to visit family in Clifton Park for Christmas.
