Fort McMurray cops have five active investigations into child porn

Police in Fort McMurray have five ongoing investigations into child pornography, says Staff Sgt. Sabrina Clayton of Wood Buffalo RCMP. No arrests have been made, although search warrants were carried out on Oct. 28 and 29 for two unrelated investigations into child pornography. Police for now are sharing few details about the ongoing investigations. Article content

“Those doing the investigations wanted to ensure the information got out to the community that this is being tracked and we’re looking at this. There definitely is going to be more coming,” said Clayton
