PORTSMOUTH, N.H. —

After two rulings by federal judges, the federal government says it will partially fund the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, but because releasing the money could take weeks, many organizations in New Hampshire are coming together to help those in need.

New Hampshire is launching mobile food pantries specifically for SNAP recipients this week, with some locations opening Monday and others open starting Wednesday.

At Community Action Partnership of Strafford County, Betsy Andrews Parker said she has never seen the need for something like this in her 15 years with the organization.

"There's nothing to compare it to," she said.
