BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) - The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting.

It occurred on Monday afternoon, just after 1 p.m., at the Greenwell Village Mobile Home Park on Greenwell Street.

Deputies say a woman was shot inside one of the mobile homes.

Deputies say a male roommate was detained.

There's no word on the severity of the woman's injuries or what may have led to the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing.
