Filmmaker Boney Kapoor has shared a throwback photo from 1986, recalling the time when the Hindi film industry was shut down for over a month due to a massive strike. The film producer shared a picture from a pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi, undertaken with close friends and colleagues at a time when the industry was struggling for survival.

In his post, Boney Kapoor revealed that the picture was taken during a trip to the Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu & Kashmir, when the entire film industry was at a standstill. The photo features Padmini Kolhapure, Ashok Thakeria, Poonam Dhillon, Suresh (Naidoo) Babu, and Kapoor himself trekking uphill to offer prayers for the end of the strike.
