ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Applying for college is getting more affordable for Georgia students.
This month, more than 60 state colleges and universities are waiving application fees.
The fee waivers are being provided by the Georgia Student Finance Commission (GSFC), the University System of Georgia, the Technical College System of Georgia, and private institutions, according to GSFC.
The effort is part of the Georgia Apply to College program .
There’s no limit to how many schools that students can apply to and no cap on the number of fee waivers they can use.
This is the fifth year that GSFC has promoted application fee waivers in November, the agency said.
Students can take advantage of the perk through Nov. 30.
