ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Some Delta flight attendants are once again calling for the creation of a union.
It’s a move some have been pushing for over the last 20 years, but now representatives from the Association of Flight Attendants (AFA) say they are closer than ever before.
Monday morning, about a dozen Delta Air Lines employees and representatives from the AFA were holding signs and raising awareness for their ongoing organizing campaign and “fighting for the rights and protections flight attendants deserve.”
“We all knew that this job was going to take sacrifices, but they promised us it was going to make it worth it,” said current Delta flight attendant Kara Wargo, who is pro-union. “They promised us that they were going to show up for us the way that we show up for
