RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Candidates, registrars, and voters are making final preps ahead of Election Day, where Virginia voters will make history when they choose the commonwealth’s first female governor.
Democrat nominee Abigail Spanberger spent Monday in the Richmond area, making a stop at Virginia Commonwealth University to speak with college students to secure the younger votes.
“In Virginia we need a governor who will stand up against the chaos and endeavor to create stability and steadiness and job growth here on the ground,” Spanberger said.
Meantime, Republican Winsome Earle-Sears covered lots of ground and traveled from Roanoke to Manassas Monday to make her final pitch to voters.
“We are right on taxes. You keep more of em. We are right on creating jobs. We know how to do this.
