BOWLING GREEN — For a while there, Eddie George and Bowling Green had it all.
The crowds. The buzz. The celebrity cat. The comeback win over Toledo that lit up the town.
The summer of George gave way to an autumn of euphoria, energy pulsing through a campus celebrating another year of record enrollment.
The vibes were immaculate.
Until they weren’t.
The Falcons, flying so high just a few weeks ago, have crashed back to earth.
