FRANKLIN COUNTY, Wash. – As election day approaches, voters in Franklin County are being reminded of the importance of submitting ballots correctly.
Franklin County Auditor Matt Beaton has been emphasizing the significance of using drop boxes. He explained, "Those drop boxes return the ballot directly to Franklin County elections. And the same is the case for Benton County," said Beaton.
Beaton recommended drop boxes as the safest way to ensure ballots are counted. For those using USPS, he advised ensuring postage is dated by November 4th. "While it does have a stamp on it, it has to be postmarked by tomorrow," he said.
