SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A South Glens Falls man is accused of driving while impaired with a newborn baby in the backseat and a suspended license.
Police received a report around 12:15 p.m. Monday that a man was passed out in a vehicle on Round Lake Road in the town of Malta. The caller also reported a newborn in the backseat.
Police said the driver, 25-year-old Zachary Eveland, left Round Lake Road prior to police arrival and was stopped by a sheriff deputy at the I-87 northbound off ramp at Exit 15 in the city of Saratoga Springs. He's accused of driving with a suspended license, while he was impaired by a drug, and had a child under the age of 15 in the car.
He was charged with aggravated DWI, endangering the welfare of a child, criminal possession of a controlled substance
